INTIX offers 3 ways of managing your door sales on event day -
or, use any combination of all three!
- Tap-to-Pay on iPhone or Android phone: free, easy, uses minimal mobile data to run app
- Wisepad3 bluetooth reader: box office app on a phone or tablet + tap-to-pay device
- INTIX POS Wi-Fi device: independent device running the app and taking payments
Note: you only have to set the device up once for your location. It will then be recognised and connect to all future events automatically.
Step 1: Connect Event Location to INTIX POS Device
The INTIX tech team must complete this step on your behalf. If you are using an INTIX POS device, let us know and we will enable your event's location on the back end.
Step 2: Choose your own adventure...
2.1: This is a factory-new device, sent directly from Stripe
- Swipe from the left side of the Stripe screen to the right to open Settings.
- Enter admin PIN 07139 (this PIN is always the same across Stripe POS devices)
- Connect the INTIX POS to your Wi-Fi network
- Generate Pairing Code (this is a unique string of 3 random words separated by dashes)
2.2: This device has previously been connected to the INTIX Box Office app
- Connect the device to your WiFi network (if prompted)
- Log into your INTIX account when the app loads
- Select your Organisation and your Event
- Connect Reader, select S700
- Open Settings, enter admin PIN 07139
- Generate Pairing Code (this is a unique string of 3 random words separated by dashes)
Step 3: Link the INTIX POS to your INTIX event
Log in to the event on your laptop
- Payments & Tax from the left menu
- POS Terminals
- Add New Reader
- Type in the 3-word pairing code, including dashes
Your INTIX POS is now connected to the event!
Repeat these steps for any additional INTIX POS devices.
Now you will see the list of connected devices (includes any connected Wisepad3 readers or phones with Tap To Pay)
