Understanding Fees and Charges in INTIX
There are no subscription fees for use of the INTIX platform. Instead all fees are collected based on your sales in the platform and will have a fixed cost based on your Charge Rates.
To view your Charge Rates head to Organisation Settings > Charge Rates.
Transaction fees are the service fees charged by Stripe to manage your payment. The percentage is applied to the total transaction value, plus a per transaction price applied once per transaction. For instance, you may have a charge rate of 1.7% plus a 10c transaction fee. For 2 x $10 tickets, this would mean total transaction fees of 1.7% of $20 + 10c.
Ticket fees reflect the collected fees that INTIX receives from your ticket sale. These are calculated as either the Minimum Ticket Price or Ticket Percentage (whichever is greater) as listed in your charge rates.
Your Fees Your Way
For Event sales you can choose to pass on either ticket and/or transaction fees to your customers on top of the ticket price, or absorb these fees so the customer pays a set ticket price at checkout.
Set your preference in Event > Payments & Tax > Payment Options
For Membership and Ticket Package sales all fees must be absorbed.
View your membership charge rate in Organisation > Membership/Season Tickets > Payment Options
Understanding my Revenue in INTIX
Your gross revenue will reflect the entire value of sales while your net revenue will reflect your total sales revenue minus ticket and transaction fees. INTIX does not retain any of your revenue: your net is automatically directed to your Stripe account at the time of sale and you can determine when you receive these payouts from within your Stripe account.
You can view the bank account that your Stripe payouts are being directed to in Organisation Settings > Payment Information.
In Events the Sales Summary Report will assist you to understand your revenue based on sales payment methods. To access this report navigate to Event > Event Reports > Sales Summary and group by “Sales Channel” which will summarise your gross and net revenue by sales channel. Alternatively generate your INTIX Settlement to view a full settlement of any sales and fees in an event: to access navigate to Event > Event Reports > INTIX Settlement.
Memberships or Package tickets will display as having a $0 value in your events as they are paid through your membership portal rather than within an event.
To view your gross and net revenue on Membership sales, navigate to Organisation > Membership/Season Tickets > Reports > Sales Summary.
When am I invoiced for ticketing fees by INTIX?
In instances where you have completed a transaction that does not use your Stripe payment gateway your ticketing fees cannot be collected at the time of purchase and you will be invoiced for these costs. Standard fees apply in this instance for both event ticket and membership sales.
Ticketing fees on $0 or complimentary tickets will be invoiced if you exceed your complimentary ticket allocation. This is 10% of your venue capacity as standard but may vary if you are a contracted client.
